Person Specification:
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
Experience of working with babies and toddlers
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will Include:- Effectively working as part of a team
- Key worker responsibilities and ensure children’s development records are maintained
- To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
- To work with EYFS curriculum planning age appropriate activities
- Building positive relationships with parents
- Maintaining nursery documentation, risk assessments, medication, accident, incident forms
- To ensure safe stimulating environment for children
- To attend monthly staff meetings and further training as required
